Very good hotel, probably the best hotel we had in Laos.Location is very good, close to everything interesting and important in Luang Pabang. Rooms are big with big bathroom. Breakfast is excelent, good choice of food. The woman, who ran the hotel, Sony, speaks very good English and is very kind and helpful, helped us in everything , we needed. We felt at the end of the day, like coming back home. Recomend this place to anybody, coming to Luang Prabang.

The property is quite small which we loved, only about 10 rooms, however the rooms were a very good size. The hotel is tucked away so no noise from the street or surrounding areas either and an easy 10 minute walk to the night market. We really enjoyed having the pool, which is clean and a good size. The manager is very friendly and welcoming and they do a tasty breakfast, fruit and then a main dish of your choice including a few egg options and more local dishes. They can also help book tours and transport and there are 2 bikes for free use which we used to cycle around the town. We would highly recommend Meunna Hotel to anyone visiting Luang Prabang.

The rooms are these cute little cottages on the banks of the river. The family that owns the place really cares about the guests and wants their experience to be as genuine as possible. You feel like you are showing up to a family members house (that you like!) and they just want you to be comfortable and happy. The grounds are kept up nicely and the breakfast is great! They bring it to your balcony in the morning.

My husband and I have been traveling for the past month all over Asia and this has been by far the best place we have stayed. Not only was the host extremely hospitable and from the moment we walked into the Villa it felt like we were not just guest but family. We really felt like we were coming back home rather than a villa everyday. This was also a really great location because it’s right on the waterfront. It perfect if you just want to lounge and read or work. It’s also walking distance to EVERYTHING! We didn’t book a single car during our time because we were able to walk to all the restaurants and night markets. The only thing we did book a car for was the waterfall which is outside the town regardless of where you decide to stay. But we would have to say the highlight was the breakfast. I am vegan and they went out of their way to make the best food we had at Luang Prabang, hands down. I would pay for their food if they were open for lunch and dinner. At the end of our trip, the host was even kind enough to pay for our transportation to the airport and pack us a breakfast to go that we could eat at the airport. If you are looking for a place to stay, I cannot recommend this place any higher. I do want to mention a few small things just in case this is a factor for you, but the villa is older than maybe the other places in the area. But that is because the villa was converted from the hosts grandmother’s home. You can still see the original architecture which we personally felt added to the charm. Unfortunately Laos laws prevent them from remodeling any of the original features which is why it has just been preserved rather than redone. Again, we loved that aspect about the place, but if you’re looking for a more modern place this might not be for you.
