Great little house in a peaceful rural village! Everything was sparkling clean and I loved the use of wood in the house which made it feel soft and warm. House was super spacious and although the kitchen area was very small (even by Japanese standards) the house was very thoughtful in providing lots of tools (aluminium foil, cling wrap) to make cooking and cleaning easier. We especially loved the view from the room which had a good view of the mountains out of pretty much every window (the best was from the toilet!). I especially loved the house in the mornings with the sun is shining in through the big window and the mountains appearing from the morning mist. We also took a stroll around the village one morning and loved the peaceful rural vibe. There is also a state-of-the-art rice mill nearby that interested my architecture buff of a husband! We didn't have much opportunity to interact with the hose (who lives in the adjacent house) but she was friendly and we had no issues checking in. The host also has a very cute cat (who refused to interact with us...😞)
