It was quiet, peaceful, and surprisingly spacious. Very beautiful accommodations- first time staying at a ryokan with a very young child and they were very accommodating! The location was gorgeous, the private and public baths were beautiful and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would love to visit again.

The atmosphere was unlike anywhere I have been before, the mountains, room, hotel decor and the river at the bottom were exceptional. The staff were very helpful and the half board dinner and breakfast were superb. The private outdoor bath on the balcony is a wonderful place to just sit and take in your surroundings.

Breathtaking onsen, with very clean traditional rooms. The staff was very nice and explained everything in a detailed way. 100% would recommend.

The pure Japan experience! This is a location where the majority of the visitors are Japanese, which makes the stay most authentic. The Onsen are beautiful and dinners amazing. But, perhaps most important, the staff is extremely nice and helpful!

The location was perfect for us for our stay. The room was much larger than we expected and extremely comfortable. The onsen was clean and so peaceful. A beautiful quiet location. We will be back!
