Koukaso is a wonderful place to stay. The accommodation is scrupulously clean and the host polite and accommodating. He answered all my questions and even took a delivery of one of our bikes that got lost on its way from NZ. There was a kitchen so I was able to cook my own breakfast and a lovely garden to sit out in. I would highly recommend this place for solo travellers, couples, or family groups.

Located 45 km from Sapporo Station, 36 km from Sapporo Dome and 40 km from Sapporo Convention Centre, Silk Court 202 features accommodation set in Chitose.

Amazing onsen both in the room and public, stunning lake view from the lounge, free tea and croissants that were not even advertised, shuttle to JR station, just generally a very elegant and cozy vibe. One of the best ryokans I ever stayed at.

Really nice resort, beautiful room, excellent (and not too heavy) dinner, plus good and varied breakfast spread. There is an excellent harp performance in the evening (and marshmallow toasting). The resort also has vending machines (beer and soft drinks), a pastry shop and a bar, plus a great gym (with gym wear and shoes which can be borrowed). The onsen facilities are excellent. The room private outdoor bath is also superb. The staff are all super nice. There is also a free shuttle service so you can go there even without a car.

Set in Naganuma, MAOIQ features 1-star accommodation with private terraces. The accommodation has a spa bath. The villa offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi.

Food was excellent and welcoming. Only difficulty was knowing how to get there. It was not clear nor was it clear how close the ice festival/sculpture was to the facility. Suprisingly close to ice sculptures and surprisingly seamless transportation to and from facility. However, it was not clear they had transportation to facility and it was diff to figure it out.
