Very nice and clean flat in the city center. Highly recommendent for visiting this historical town. It was heated which was a surprise to us because in another flat it was told that after 15 April there is no heating in Italy independently from weather. This flat was very fine warm. A good restaurant was 50 meters from us.

The rifugio, which is an ex monastery, is very well and thoughtfully renovated, and located a bit out of the town. We enjoyed staying in a really unique room which inspired us to think about the history of this place, their inhabitants, nuns and monks. The owner is very nice and helpful, she took time to show us the old church and explained the history of the property. Close to the monestary there is a wonderful, even mystical garden full of lavandas, rosemarin, roses and other Mediterranean plants. Also the breakfast was delicious and served in an antique dinning room. Everything was super clean. We spent wonderful time in the rifugio and if comming back to Cividale, we will definitely choose again to stay here. If you like historical places and like to try something unusual, this place is worth trying.

The owner was super friendly and provided us with the important information about the historic sights and was always ready to help. The apartment was beautiful and well equiped. It was directly in the city centre so the location could not be better but still it was quiet. Breakfast was delicious and was from local producers. We will certainly visit again.
