The nicest apartment we had in Iceland. Well equipped, spacious, clean. Very good value for money. Owners live across the street, otherwise keys were waiting for us. We had smaller apartment so without washing machine, but there is washing and drying machine available across the hallway, with washing powder and baskets. 1 washing/one night of stay, very convenient. Kitchen and bathroom equipped with really everything you need. This was the only apartment that actually had all the kitchen utensils and normal cups for tea! In the bathroom towels, soap, shampoo, disinfectant and even sanitary products. Owners are responsive on emails as well. Enough parking, good location to some main attractions in the area (35-40 min to Myvatn, Husavik, Akureyri and Myvatn Natural Baths (like Blue Lagoon, but half the price)). I definitely recommend staying here!

This is a wonderful guesthouse with friendly hosts and wonderful staff. We were very lucky to find this warm place during our trip to Iceland. And I booked on the day of check-in. They have thought of everything. They added a bed for the child. You can brew and drink delicious tea in the hall. There is also a hot spring and there are robes for it in the rooms. Secluded, quiet, wonderful breakfasts. We would like to come back again.

The apartment is very nice, cozy and super cute!! They have a washing machine and a dryer machine (super practical with the cold winter awaiting). The owner is super nice and funny, she helped us with all we needed and called when we left something after we left! The position is not that far away from Husavik and Akureyri : everything is by mountains and you can see the northern lights from the bedroom’s windows! The two bedrooms are huge and the kitchen super furnished!

Beautiful, tranquil location overlooking a lovely lake. We borrowed a kayak and paddled out to an island. Within range of both Husavik and Myvatn sights. Lovely terrace with a hot tub in which we enjoyed the evening sunshine.
