Feel the country and the horses! We stayed here for one week and visited common and secret places nearby by the rented 4WD. Very close to the ferry (Landeyjahöfn) to the Vestmannaeyjar (Westmen Island). The cottage is clean and has a cooking place with all equipment you need (coffee machine, dish washer, microwave). Very nice,relaxed and friendly staff. My daughter also joined the famous black beach ride. Best thing: no TV set and the panorama windows.

Loved our stay in this apartment, great location for northern lights if weather is appropriate. Very well equipped and warm when we reached it after a storm. Cozy feeling, would have stayed longer if we had the time.

So perfect! We need to book a room after our plan changed (needed to cancel out trek plans due to comming storm). Our room were clean, bathrooms were clean, and we had a really comfy night during really bad weather conditions. We’re planning more „familly” jorney to Iceland next year, and I think this place will be a good candidate for accommondation!

Even greater than expected, everything was of very high construction quality, very spacious room, also a spacious shower in the private bathroom, giant bed, very practical arrangement of all the things. Felt like a 4 star hotel, except that this place is in the middle of nowhere (which is a very positive thing, everything super quiet and you're close to nature). Good variety of breakfast, flexible check in and check out. Good self adjustable heating.

After reading some mixed reviews I was unsure what to expect. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised. I'm quite sure the negative reviews are written by complete morons. I'd read that the toilets were really far away, they are not. The main building is well equipped, lots of toilets with big modern bathrooms. I'd read that there were a lot of flies, well yes there are, but this place is in a long grassy field, only an idiot would complain about that. Also read about someone shouting at you if you parked in the wrong place, that didn't happen. Also value for money is great. It might be expensive compared to your home country, but this is Iceland, everything costs more. If you don't like the price travel to a cheaper country. In my experience these bad comments usually come from American travellers, who have a culture of being fussy, demanding and rude to all the service industry. Check in was easy, beds were comfortable, and the place was very warm with the heater on, which was NOT noisy.
