The owners have thought of everything for their guests comfort. The cottage looks deceptively small outside but is amazing inside. The panoramic windows in the living room have incredible views down the valley. Although it is in a fairly remote location(the nearest town is 20 minutes away), it is just off the main ring road around Iceland. Don’t be worried about road noise. The road is not that busy and you can’t hear a thing inside the house. The kitchen is fully equipped - there’s even a dishwasher. There are other accommodations on the property but nobody bothered us.

The three cottages (we stayed in #3) seem to be brand new. They appear to be tiny homes. They are great! There's a nice kitchen/living/dining room that has a sofa bed if needed (we didn't use it). A separate bathroom with an enclosed shower and a separate bedroom with two twin beds (next to each other). There is electric "radiators" for heat. The unit is nice and accommodating. We have enjoyed staying here. The owner is good at communicating via the messaging through Booking.com.

Very private. Perfect location for Northern lights spotting, especially from the hot pot(tub) and deck. Very picturesque with gorgeous views from every window. Just out of town, well equipped kitchen. Quick communication responses from very welcoming hosts, who dropped by to check all was well, after I'd messaged looking for the hotpot plug, which they had replied to with the answer. Cosy, Icelandic decor just added a great vibe to the stay. Comfortable and charming, thank you.

Nice, clean, well equipped, with a nice view and very quiet. Only comment, the heating was a bit under performing in the main bedroom on ground floor- becoming bit cold at night. The rest of the house was adequately heated.

This is the most welcoming host I ever meet. The service level was outstanding. We are anglers and were welcomed with world class home caught and smoked trout. He even organized a fishing trip and drove me to the spot. If you want a one in a kind experience this is the place to visit.
