Owner family were very warm and welcoming,and they helped me arrange a shikara boat trip.Location excellent and quiet,the room is clean, and there is a bird sanctuary nearby. I woke up to the singing of birds in the morning. It was a very friendly place to stay like home. You can ask them for activities and they will try their best to help you arrange them. The food is excellent delicious.

Our stay here was amazing! The family who owns it is so kind and hospitable. Everything is really fairly priced and the food was so delicious and healthy. The area is also really nice and cute, a really good place to wind down. Would definitely visit again if we’re nearby😊

I loved everything about Little Chembaka. The house, room and garden are just beautiful, like a little paradise. It's very well taken care of, until the last detail. The location is right at the water. I also went for a nice walk along the canal up to the lake. The food is sourced locally and freshly prepared with love. It's a perfect place to taste a variety of local dishes. The sunrise boat tour is highly recommended. It gives an unspoiled glimpse into the local village life. The staff is just amazing and goes the extra mile to make you happy and feel home. They also share a lot of interesting information about local life and food.

As we travelled with our pets, it was really convenient for us. The stay had a beautiful garden and the property is right opposite the backwaters. It's a beautiful view. Property is filled with nature and greenery. It is very calming and peaceful. Yes, it is a little tricky to get to the property but totally worth it.

Fabulous stay. Divya, her family, and staff are welcoming and foster a home-like environment. We had engaging conversations and shared stories. The rooms are clean and well-kept. The homestay is located near a quiet rural road that runs alongside a canal and passes through villages and rice fields. We took a pleasant 3-hour walk from the homestay to the main lake, along the canal, where we saw different birds and interacted with villagers.

It’s location! A short 300m stroll through the local village to the market area via the back gate gave a great insight to life away from the cities. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. We can recommend the local Toddy Shop for a meal. 800 metres away, turn left at gate then right at junction.

Cruising on the Grand Villa houseboat for two nights was a wonderfully unforgettable experience. The staff were top notch, and the chef was 5 star. He would be at home working in any Michelin Star restaurant. The ride on the waters was very smooth and serene. I'm already looking at dates to book again.
