Everything - the most hospitable place we've ever been to in months of travelling. It's a little way out but that was actually great for us because we had to go to places in all directions.

Absolutely everything: a delightfully chatty hostess (who by happy coincidence met us on horseback :D), a brand new room with plush cream carpet, excellent breakfast and sitting rooms, where we were served a welcome tea. Complete peace and quiet, a herd of cow in front of the house. We were travelling for a week, changing hotels each night - this was a definite highlight.
