Beautiful spacious room with excellent amenities, and the pictures do not do it justice. 10 min walk to the outlet village, 20 min walk to the national stud, and 10 min drive to the racecourse. Great deli below serving great coffee and excellent restaurant next door

Located in the very center of Kildare, Silken Thomas is not a family run B&B, but greets you with a warm welcome anyway! We enjoyed the lovely and unexpected experience to lodge in the nearby Virgina Lodge, in the wonderful Kate Room (each room is dedicated and has a personality). Very large, comfortable, stylish room, the biggest bed ever and everything you can ask for: sincerely jaw dropping! Breakfast not included, but very well cooked in the restaurant a few steps away. Parking was free adn away from the street, located just behind the Silken Thomas restaurant and pub. I would surely come back and recommend Silken Thomas.

Beautiful self contained granny flat. Great space and lots of toys for the kids to keep them entertained. The bathrooms and bedrooms were lovely and the whole stay was very comfortable. Steve the host was great he met us when we arrived even left bread milk and fresh eggs for us to use.

I really like this place. The host is very friendly and respond quickly. Clean and well equipped. First time live in a loft. Lots of stairs to get to bed. But I like it. The place is warmed up quickly after turn the radiator on. I only realised it’s I turned the light bulb on , which hanging between the two stables in the late evening. My apologies to the people who live in opposite sides. I was puzzled how it could be turned off. The location is very good. It’s between the Kildare Village and Emo Court. 10-15 minutes drive to both places. I am a foreigner, this place is actually quite a distant to Dublin. There is a very good Italian takeaway on the front street. Enjoyed a fish and chips there.
