Neatly cleaned facility with kind host, who gave us lots of recommendations on where to drop by next. Irish breakfast is such an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend whoever visits around here should stay here at Ballyhourode.

I stayed here while travelling alone for work to visit the Teagasc Moorepark research centre (only 15 min away). They were kind, welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and had everything I needed, I was really treated like family! So clean & spacious. The radiators are on a timer that kick in at the perfect times to keep you warm and cosy, this was perfect when I’d walk into a nice warm house after work. The bed is SO comfortable as well as the sofas. I love the window in the downstairs living area, watching the sun rise over the paddocks, the fog setting in or the snow fall from that window just looked like a canvas and so peaceful. I would definitely stay again and again. Host is absolutely wonderful checking in and offering anything you might need. I was here for a bit over a month and couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and comfortable stay, highly recommend!
