It was an 800m walk to the village shop and two pubs. The locals in the pub we visited and the shop were very friendly and welcoming. Fiona responded quickly to the only minor issue we had, the accommodation was very clean, well equipped and spacious. On site parking was great to have, the location was quiet but not isolated with an amazing view from the route down to the village.

Great wholesome food in pub/restaurant next door - the Pint depot but dine early .. closes kitchen at 6.30
Great home cooked Breakfast options Available across the road in Doyle’s deli , they even have their own bakery and their chicken salads are delicious to take away,

Fiona was great with communication on location and has lockbox for the key, so great if you're arriving late (which we were). The apartment is really clean & comfortable, the heating was on and it's a very quiet location (so a great sleep), yet only a few minutes from a busy village. Tip,... If you don't want to make breakfast, then head to Cafe de Mode in Ballon for a tasty breakfast!
