Very quiet place with nice balcony for having breakfast. The beach is just a 1 minute walk away and only 10 minutes driving to Leonidio. Rena is a very warm host and we felt very welcome.

Our stay at Matas House was perfect. The owners were kind and accommodating. For the duration of our stay the owners were willing to help us with anything we needed, it was a pleasure to meet them. The house had all the equipment we needed, the owners even left us a welcome present which was very nice. The view from the house was amazing, and the location is very peacefull with little to no other tourists. The owners speak english well, there was no problem with communication.

Amazing location, secluded quiet beach within few minutes walking down from villa. hard to get to, from the road by car and walking down (not for easily scared drivers or anyone with problems walking few steep steps), but if it was easy then the beach would be crowded and not as amazing. So I hope the owner manages to keep it just as it is---simple and perfect! Also the owner is extremely nice, helpful and knows very well the area. Overall, a huge positive surprise to find such a quiet beautiful spot in summer within short drive from Athens.

This is a very lovely place! The house is great, very comfortable, with fantastic views. The owners, who live next door, are friendly and helpful, just as you would want. They gave us delicious cucumbers from their vegetable garden and figs. They are nice, interesting people. It is so peaceful there, with beautiful sunsets. The surrounding area is fantastic to explore: villages, walks and beaches.Very unspoilt by tourism. The local beach at Fokianos is lovely, with a great Taverna. Quite perfect for our stay in September.
