I am a solo traveller with 2 kids (digital nomad). The staff went above and beyond to support us, the location was a 10 second walk to the beach, the whole strip was fun to walk across with a mix of family friendly stuff and fun things for single young people too. Amenities close, beach at your fingertips, restaurants and travel support so accessible. The staff were super supportive and accommodating. As a digital nomad, I go from one country+ accommodation to another so have a strong basis of comparison.. the cleanliness and hygiene here was the best I've come across so far which is saying something because my standards are strict with this since I have young children. It wad the first time I stayed at a location and genuinely felt sad saying bye to everyone around us and to the place. The accommodation itself is great because you have everything you need to work, get ready, store your stuff, make home cooked meals etc. The structure is beautiful too with its colours and the balcony was beautiful to work on and unwind with dinner with the kids.

It was amazing. The rooms are beautiful and space for everyone. The view was very nice to the city and sea. Very nice pool area for chilling and relaxing at night aswell. And the villige itself is very nice to have walks both day and night. Best bakery across the street and we got a very good deal from Orion car rent - it further away from the villa in the villige. For us we got the best feel of Hersonissos life and amazing villige feel from there.

When we arrived, Iaanis was already there to meet us with the keys. He showed us around the flat, showing us how everything worked, including the safe, air con, etc. He let us know that we could contact him at any point for any help or anything we needed. The flat was extremely secure with a full alarm system available to use. When we were struggling to get back into the flat on the first night, I messaged Iaanis, who rang me within 1 minute to talk me through how to open the door. The flat has been refurbished to an extremely high standard with all the facilities you could ever need. Iaanis even let us stay later on our final day as we had a late flight and there were no guests the following day, which was so so helpful! Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely return!

The house is big and it has all what one needs. You can watch the stars in the evening from the terrace upstairs. Many cats in the surroundings are well taken care of from people of the village (much appreciated from my children!). The owner brought us some fantastic grapes. It's in the mountains, so it's not hot in the evening and perfect place to relax after crowds in Stalida or Malia. Convenient also to visit Heraklion or Cnossos, about 30 minutes by car. When in the village follow the signs to the Gorge, the house is soon on the left after taking the road towards the Gorge from the Church square. You can park just outside the house entrance.

Everything! The property was a great little home away from home and perfect for a summer beach holiday, with the beach a short 5 minute walk away. The fact that the suite was on the ground floor only added to the beach holiday mood and made it very convenient to flop in and out. The suite is located in a quiet little nook off from a small square surrounded by many restaurants, a pharmacy, a hairdresser, and a convenient little supermarket, so despite foot traffic being close by, it still feels very private, peaceful and very safe. The suite is newly refurbished, and very beautifully so. It feels thoroughly luxurious, down to the glass gate opening into the patio/terrace. The suite comes with all the modern mod-cons one could ever need at a holiday getaway - a comfortable bed, air-conditioning, WiFi, clean luxurious bathroom, hairdryer, plus many more extras that make it such a treat: complete kitchen for preparing full meals (if you want, as I did), coffee machine, home made olive oil from the host’s own grove, salt, pepper, washing machine, a clothes horse, even a little safe for valuables. Ceiling-to-floor clear sliding doors make the most of bright sunny days, but day curtains and blackout curtains are also available to protect privacy. Parking was also easily available, although I didn’t have any use for it this time as I didn’t think a car was needed for lounging on the beach. The host was excellent, taking pains to get me a few extras in terms of food I asked for to tide me through the night, since I was arriving quite late in the night, and certainly after shops had closed. On the day of checkout, they also further facilitated my hastily-cobbled-together departure plans, even dropping me off at a bus stop to save me a walk in the sweltering midday sun. it was very kind of them, and they definitely went above and beyond to make my stay so enjoyable and memorable. Good location, parking, washing machine, dishwasher, iron. It's 5 minutes by car to Lidl, but there are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, right on the beach, so the location is good. The house itself is big and comfortable. The owner is very friendly. The jacuzzi in the yard is a good bonus for the night chill.

We really loved the location of the house, close to the city and the main road to travel around. The house is very close to the busy centre but still in a quiet street. Everything in the house is just like the pictures! But we were the most happy with the owner of the place. Amazing service! We had good contacts with each other before, during and after our stay. He showed us around the area and helped us find a good car rental place and showed us some higlights of the island. He helped us have the amazing holidays we've had!
