I stayed two nights at the Bagration Guesthouse. I arrived in Gori very early and rang the bell shortly before 8 a.m. No problem. The family is very friendly and welcoming. The room was very nice and clean. There's a very large kitchen that you can use. A washing machine is also available. There's also a large common room with a TV and a terrace overlooking the courtyard. The accommodation is very centrally located. Overall, I can recommend the accommodation without reservation!

Our room was very comfortable, with a table and chairs, and also a sink/work surface in the room. It opened straight onto the courtyard and was next to the shared bathroom. Upstairs was a veranda you could sit out on and also a kitchen which was very useful for preparing meals. The family who run this place are so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really nice and slightly different each morning. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet, and you can park your car inside the gates.

We had a huge room, with living room, smart TV, AC, hairdryer, basically absolutely everything for the very cheap price. Everything is brand new and super comfortable. The owners are both wonderful, I loved chatting to them both. We were invited tasty coffee on arrival and good wine in the evening, and also given a free ride to the bus station next morning. They have loads of cats and amazing giant super friendly dog. It’s rare when I give 10/10, but this place is definitely that!

I’ve read so many good things about this place that going in my expectations were extremely high so really I wasn’t expecting a positive surprise. Boy was I wrong! My only regret is that we used Gori as a stopover on our way to Kutaisi so only spent one night at this wonderful little oasis. We were the only guests, but we felt like we got the full experience The proprietor was over the top friendly and created an atmosphere that made me feel like I was staying with a dear relative. The property is just a few hundred metres from the town centre. Breakfast was AMAZING!!! If I could rate this 11, I would.
