We stayed here for 4 nights and would gladly return if coming to this area again. Madame Isabelle met us with a big smile and it was still there every day. The rooms were large, as big as some apartments. There was a small lounge/ kitchen area with frig. and kettle and a large lounge/diner big enough for 4 to 6. There were many magazines to read - obviously in French - tourist leaflets and advice on distances to a number of sites. Breakfast was good, just what we wanted, but we could have had more. We had a simple meal on our last day and it was delicious, with a glass of rosé as a gift. Mme. Isabelle was always available but never in the way!! A fount of knowledge and a most pleasant hostess. It was a short drive to the city and we found Parking Les Tanneurs very useful. It was a 3 minute walk to the town centre and it was free!!! There are plenty of restaurants just below the chateau and we used these. We found everybody we met extremely helpful. I have heart and back problems and used a stroller. If we came to steps very often people carried the chair up. A great help! As you can image we were very grateful. Obviously Mme Isabelle's charisma had spread to the locality.

Everything was beyond our expectations. The first time, I have ever had crisp white linen sheets in any place I have ever stayed. The cleanest place we have ever stayed. The owners were so nice and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely with home made produce to enjoy. I couldn't recommend more highly.

Wonderful, spacious accommodation right in the centre of Amboise. The apartment is bright and very comfortable with three good sized bedrooms and a large living and dining area. It was very clean and had everything we needed. A great place to return and relax after a day spent exploring the town and the surrounding area. I stayed here for seven nights, everything was at the highest level. The host is very jovial and polite, she waited for us even if we arrived at a late hour. Everything was clean, spacious, tasteful and very modern. The bed is very very comfortable and I would like to know who produced the mattress. A beautiful place in Amboise - a stylish renovated villa by a proprietor with a keen eye for detail. Lovely homemade breakfasts. Perfect base for exploring Amboise and the rest of Loire Valley. A short walk away from a meeting point for hot air balloon rides if that's something you are planning to do while there.

The location was perfect. This has been the highlight of our first trip to Europe/UK. The old village with all its history was picture perfect. The cafes and pubs and friendly staff were wonderful especially at the shack and the hotel on the left corner of the main street as you enter.

Individual vacation house not luxurious but very clean and fitted with all amenities for full comfort including teleworking. Keys can be collected via a lockbox at the main gate. Two independent washrooms. Superfast internet. Parking for one car in the yard. Responsiveness of the owners via messaging (haven't seen them in person). Silence.

The owner and staff were very friendly, lovely people, very helpful. The location was an easy walk to the castle's and village. It was a lovely little place, and very different to stay in a cave. I loved the history of this town Leonardo de Vinci last home, he died there, and there were many kings and queens. A very interesting and gorgeous place to go. Highly recommend 👌

We loved staying at Villa Mary! The location was perfect access to the train station and Amboise. Easy 10 min. walk to the city center over the bridge. Nice welcome from Mary when we arrived. The bedroom and bath were beautifully updated. The shared kitchen worked well for us with coffee, tea, and a refrigerator. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant at the end of the street with an incredible view of the Chateau d'Amboise which is lit up at night. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Mary for a lovely stay!
