The host was very friendly, he welcomed us at check-in and gave us the keys and the visitor cards (included in the local tax and offer some discounts to Mittenwald's attractions). The host also allowed us to lend for free some toboggans (both for one and two people) and regularly cleaned the parking area and driveway from snow. The apartment was clean and warm with underfloor heating and a mountain view from the living room window. The location was great, only a few minutes walk from the town centre and the Kranzberg-Sessellift, where you can toboggan back down or ski to the main ski area of Mittenwald (otherwise you have to drive there).

Good-sized apartment, perfect for our family if 3, with gorgeous views over Mittenwald and Karwendel with a well-equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom. It was great to watch a concert from our balcony on our last evening there. Although a parking space is included, we opted to arrive by train and went everywhere locally by foot or public transport. Lovely walks in surrounding area and easy access to Karwendel cable car, chairlifts and Leutasch gorge walk. Option to purchase a selection of drinks (honesty box) is a nice touch.

Absolutely lovely hotel, very welcoming people, the place itself is homey, quiet and comfy. The view from the balcony is amazing and it's tough to go to bed and stop gazing at all the stars. Breakfast is plenty. Enjoyed very much. Pillows are a bit too soft, but it's not an issue.

We were there before, and we would go again. Nice apartment, preheated at arrival, clean and hygienic (incl. clean cutlery) and plenty of towels. Great location. I was not that relaxed in years! Stunning view of the mountain and lovely town. A lot of family activities to do around. Sauna is a nice way to finish day.

The view from the balcony of the Granat suite, full on of the Karwendal mountains overlooking the fairy tale town was a traveler's dream. There in shoulder season so no tourist crowds though some venues not open, like the Karwendalbahn. But the peace and beauty of the Bavarian village all the more palpable.
