The hotel is located just outside the town, so you are away from the 'busy' centre. The gardens host a lot of birds and iguanas. We had our best scarlet macaw sightings at the front gate. Stephanie, the owner, is delightful and super helpful. She even coordinated a garage visit to repair a flat tyre when we were leaving. She really made us feel like family. We also left our car at the hotel for a small fee while we went to Drake Bay. If you have the time, plan to stay an extra day here.

Great location on the way to Drake Bay. Nice an comfortable with AC in the whole house. Well equipped kitchen. But most of all, very lovely hosts who can even help with transportation to Drake Bay and tours.

The place was amazing, we loved being immersed in nature. The host was absolutely fantastic (provided lots of additional information ahead of time and was very friendly and helpful on site) plus her food was super delicious. We booked a tour with Simone and had the best time (saw lots of animals, great explanations, lovely picnic and tons of fun)!

Our stay at this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped with all the amenities we needed. The location was ideal, conveniently close to the ferry dock. Our host, Adriana, warmly welcomed us and went above and beyond with her kindness and attention, even helping us resolve an issue with our laundry. Relaxing break away. Great stop if your wanting to visit the World Heritage Costarican Spheres. George was an excellent host, giving us loads of info regarding the various archaeological sites which were nearby. Accommodation was excellent. Huge comfy bed, huge bathroom, great kitchen and a balcony we used a lot watching the Macaws in the trees overlooking a beautiful valley. Accomm can comfortably fit 4. Valles of OSA is on top of a hill with a driveway about 30m and easily negotiable in an AWD. We ended up extending our stay to 2 nights. You won’t regret staying here, the views are amazing, hospitality that was extended to us was exceptional and it was definitely value for money. We loved our stay. Do yourself a favour and don’t go past this accommodation!

The location was remote which made it so special, quiet and enjoyable. The home was immaculate and very comfortable. The facilities at the site were exceptional (swimming pool, ping pong, hiking trails, community garden...)

We stayed here as need a stop before going on to Drake. The staff & bbq were so lovely. the rooms perfect for a stop over & great to be in a local non tourist town in CR. Do try this place , super cute , great food - Top chef & again lovey staff.

Sabrina and Edu were fantastic hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay a success. We loved our little house. The food was the best we had in Costa Rica, it was fresh, delicious and varied. There were interesting trails around the property and we had great fun in the rowing boat. We thought Encanto Lodge was a very special place and would have liked to stay longer. Pura Vida in Osa.
