Breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options. The owners were so nice and accommodating, they spoke Spanish to us but slowly so we could try and understand, which was great because we were trying to practice our Spanish. The accommodation was super close to the beach which there were not many people so it was great. There was also a sloth named George in the tree out the front which was an awesome suprise! Overall a great stay!

This accommodation is featured in an extremely nice (to us) location, newly built and well-kept. Its location just by a stream makes for much wildlife nearby, such as spider monkeys, macaws, ”morfos”, jesus lizards, and sloths. We saw like three of them within minutes of our arrival. Also, two friendly local dogs roamed the premises, but the owners were attentive and made sure the dogs weren't ever a bother. The rooms, or cottages, were fresh with effective air conditioning, hot-water showers and a nice patio. Carlos, the owner, and his family and staff were very nice, very easy-going and sociable. Our kids are saying we need to return here if we ever come back to Manuel Antonio. It's a quiet place since it's not directly on the main road through the Manuel Antonio/Quepos area. During the morning hours you can at times hear howling monkeys. Following the water downstream about 45 minutes leads to a waterfall, it's a nice fairly easy hike, mostly clean, but there were places that had some junk that had been flushed downstream lying about and we regret not bringing a bag so we could help clean up the otherwise really nice area.

Room decor was nice, room was clean, beds were exceptionally comfortable, bedding was clean, wifi was strong and worked throughout our 4 night stay except for about 1 hour. Quiet fan in every room including the restroom, which helped dehumidify the place. Strong, quiet ac units in livingroom and bedroom. Laundry done and folded on the same day of service request at cost. There were an induction stove top, fridge, pans, coffee maker, coffee, utensils, dishes, cups, bowls, beach towels, clothes hanging line- every need provided for. Everything was of high quality and service. Beautifully landscaped grounds with a pool, which we didn't have time to use. Management is located across the street and was extremely responsive and quick when the lock didn't work. Vernita helped us book several tours when we couldn't find an available guide on our own. The bus stop to Quepos was literally outside the main gate of the villas complex. The bus stop to Manuel Antonio was a few hundred feet on the other side of the street. The bus ticket was 410 colones (less than $1 US dollar) one way. The bus comes every 15 minutes and takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the last stop in Manuel Antonio, which is about a 7 minute walk to the Manuel Antonio National Park entrance.

The property was spacious and clearly well cared for. All facilities you need. Eli was very helpful. El cerdo feliz was a great cafe/restaurant very close and there was a useful cornershop too.

Couldn’t have asked for more, great location, the pool and garden space were brilliant and plenty of space to relax. Perfect for everything we needed. Jan and Ken were gracious hosts and nothing was too much trouble.
