This was the perfect place to stay. The volcano was our view every morning from our room and from the restaurant where we had an included breakfast every morning. The villa was clean and spacious. The staff were amazing. Our host Daniella was incredible. She booked tours for us and was there whenever we had questions. We could not have asked for a better stay.

The kind helpfulness of our hosts. The view and setting Thank you to the amazing family who run the lodgings! They were very kind and attentive! The location is excellent! Highly recommended: The butterfly conservatory which is literally just a few minutes walk up the street is awesome with several stunning walks, views, and stories of its own. The amazing views from all around the property and neighbourhood! Pura vida!

Everything. This place is a gem. We loved every minute we spent there. The dome is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is cooked for you every morning and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The best part of this place is the garden and trails. You will see wildlife from your window every day! Only tip, as it is quite remote, bring some food to cook or you might need to head back to restaurant 15 to 20 minutes drive away

Such a beautiful place! Unfortunately it was raining when I was there so the volcano was covered in clouds. Peaceful, calm environment, a comfy bed and the most adorable cats and dogs. Isaias was super friendly and prepared delicious breakfast in the morning.

The care and attention shown by Leo was a standout for us. Finding accomodation for a family can be hard but the sized rooms were great value for money. We were travelling on a budget but this property exceeded our expectations. Leo breakfast and birdwatching was outstanding. A lovely pool to cool off in. A taxi ride is $4 to town and a bus station right outside, there is a great view of Arenal from a spot in the pool area and in the dining deck. We were lucky enough to see toucans and monkeys in the trees above and Leo was in hand with his telescope. Tje night frog tour was engaging and fun - we also saw an owl.
