The Location and the property are amazing. Great Views and pretty balconies to enjoy them. The Staff are amazing, speak good English and helped us out a lot, booking return trips to Lijiang (for a fourth of the price we had to pay to get there) and were generally super accommodating and helpful. Definitely recommended, will most likely come back ourselves!

Close to old town centre but far away enough from the bars so it remains quiet during the night. Staff was extremely helpful and helped to order medicine when my sister was unwell with altitude sickness in the middle of the nigh.

The bathroom it's awesome!! Shangri-La is super cold place but the hostel toilet bowl is digital with temperature. When u go toilet is comfy. 😁 I went to Lijiang & Dali also without this facilities. Host got offer book car return Lijiang & Shangri-La, price also reasonable. Hostel provide 2 heater., room it's big, breakfast it's delicious. Recommended

Very clean! Impressed that the toilet was so clean, comes with hair dryer even! And have electric heated bed. The food was good! And the coffee )had caramel macchiato) was really impressive.. yummy home made tea cookies. View from the guesthouse’s cafe was stunning, could catch sunrise and sunset. The lady boss was really friendly and is a great host, had a long conversation of how the teahouse came about- its their home and they set up this guesthouse, and its part of the old famous teahorse road (the other famous road is the silk road in china)z
