This was a jewel, great location, the rooms were fantastic, we even got upgraded. Sara the manager spoke impeccable English and was beyond what the pictures display. Super great price for what you pay. The staff is warm and very accommodating! Would definitely stay here again.

This place is really very special, the rooms are kitted out in a historical chinese style without sacrificing comfort. The staff could not be friendlier or more helpful and th3 location is perfect, in the ancient part of the town and so in easy walking distance to all hi sights

Beautiful accommodation at the centre of ancient city of Pingyao in the bustling South Street. The owner and staff are very friendly, warm and helpful. They picked us up from the station and brought us to Ancient City (cars are not allowed inside) and also brought us on the day of departure, both for very reasonable fees, because we were with 5, too many for a taxi. The hotel and rooms were in a traditional style, allowing for great pictures.The beds and cushions were very comfortable for us. The bathroom and toilet are combined in a small room, but it wasn't bothersome.The owner knows the nearby shops and good spots to go to, definitely ask for tips. We enjoyed our 2 nights and 3 days in Pingyao a lot, definitely recommended.
