Martin is a passionate and amazing host. He speaks fluently German English and French and is generous with his time and great energy, to explain many things of the city, the area, and even about the universe he has created for Las Olas. Everything about this place is mesmerising and thought through. We felt right at home in our Tortuga, with a fire wood waiting for us every evening, and even umbrellas in our room in case of rain! When a place feels right, it all comes down to the minute details, and Martin and his ever so smiley team have nailed every aspect of what homy and comfort are supposed to look and feel like. We wish we could take this place in our pocket and continue to live here to admire the view for the rest of our travels. Very sad to be leaving this place, 200% recommended by us. It felt like an adventure of its own. We would come back to Bolivia just to live in this microcosm again ❤️

Amazing place to stay. The views were great, the breakfast was really nice and the quaint decoration of the room was beautiful. It was the nicest place we stayed in all of South America the last three months. The staff were very friendly especially Kevin, who gave us lots of information. Will definitely recommend to our friends and will be back.

Great hotel, close to the center and the sanctuary. Room was spacious, clean, the bed really confortable. Hot shower and great pressure in the shower, you can also leave you bags to go to isla del sol. Breakfast is included, which i forgot and didn't had the time to take but they do bread, jam/butter, fruits, eggs and fresh juice with tea and coffee

It was a very peaceful stay, we loved this rustic and environmentally friendly accommodation. There is also an amazing view of the lake. It is about 2km out from the main town, but this was a big benefit for us since it made it more tranquil without the business of the town, and you could swim in the lake without boats bothering you. The walk to town was really pretty so went by quickly. In case you don't want to go into town, there was really great food available at good prices. In fact their vegetarian hamburgers were the best we tasted in South America. The host is super lovely and friendly. We wished we could have stayed longer! Highly recommended!!!

Great location! Steps away from restaurants on the other side of the hill to watch sunset from, and all we had to do in the morning was open the curtains to watch the sunrise. Breakfast was delicious and we were allowed to store our bags while we went exploring for the day. Lots of blankets to keep warm and warm shower!

Since the beggining the family was very nice and Kind. The badroom is very nice and clean. The views are amazing and the localization is perfect. During our stay in the island we eat in a local restaurant and my husband get very sick( we dont recommend to eat ham in these island). They did all they could to make him feel better and healty as fast as possible, they didnt charge more money for that. We just have to say, thank you very much for being so kind persons.

Insane view and the best host ever. We got there at night and he made pancakes just for us and a fresh orange juice. They help you with everything. Good price. Good beds and the best sunrise possible!
