Our stay at the aghasu tun b and b ended up being one of our favorite parts of Armenia. Amalia (sp?) was a lovely host who not only was a great chef but it was very nice to get to know her and share our love of music together. There is a communal area where we got to spend the evening with other guests who were also very lovely and showered us as well with Armenian hospitality. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family. Surrounding area is very beautiful (don't miss Lori fortress). Amalias garden is also really cool!

Great host! Edmund went out of his way to ensure we had a super stay. He gave me a personal tour of his beloved garden. We were free to gather fresh fruit from his bountiful fruit trees. The room was spacious, clean and a bit quirky, in a good way. My bed was very comfortable. It has plenty of parking. Guest House in Alaverdi would be my first choice for a place to stay if I ever happened to pass through Alaverdi again.

If you plan to stay at Debed canyon, do not search anything else, than Iris B&B. Irina is a fantastic host, we enjoyed a lot the talks during dinner and breakfast. The foods were great, it's a pity we could stay only one nigth. Definitely recommended, hope to come back once.

Amazing place to stay. The guesthouse is next to the family home of the hosts. The family is very welcoming, friendly and open to give advice on what to do in the area. English is not a problem. They brought fresh and tasty breakfast to us every morning and there is an optional cooked dinner. Comfy beds, kitchen and seating area. The Migoyan museum and Sanahin monastery are next door and the start to some wonderful hikes are nearby. There is a small shop next door. You can also watch the piglets in the neighbour's barn while drinking your morning coffee.

I arrived late so the family offered me to make an very tasty dinner for me. The owner also offered me to do a little hike in the morning to get a good view of Sanahin and a visit to the monastery which we had for ourselves. I really felt at home at the house and the family was very welcoming.

Super-welcoming hosts and great location on the clifftop of Debed Canyon. Great treks from the village all well.signposyed and trails marked. There is no shop or cafe in the village but the family serves the most terrific meals with local produce. The owner has created a small museum which is really interesting - household items from ancient to modern. The family also arranged a spot in a shared taxi from Yerevan, which was cheap and easy. The cottage has all facilities you might need, fridge, washing machine, hairdryer, cooker, kettle.

I highly recommend Pottery House. We had a wonderful stay. Marina and Alla are very friendly and helpful. Alla gave my daughter a great pottery class. The building looks a little rough from the outside but inside it is clean and tastefully decorated. Marina made us a lovely dinner. The view of the mountains was fantastic and it is right near the Monastery. We got a car to Haghpats and walked back on the well marked trail. It was well worth it.

I highly recommend Pottery House. We had a wonderful stay. Marina and Alla are very friendly and helpful. Alla gave my daughter a great pottery class. I loved my stay here. The location was at the end of the village so very peaceful but still close enough to walk to the old church. The family was so kind, delicious fresh food including an exceptional breakfast. Vade was incredibly helpful and for a small fee picked me up from my marshrutka and at the end of my hike, drove me to Alaverdi to get my marshrutka to Dilijan. My room was so clean and comfortable and very secure. Everything was perfect. Thankyou

The hosts were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was big and delicious. You could also buy a dinner at the B&B, which was definitely worth it as it too was big and very tasty. Odzun is a small but pretty village with nice walking and cycling, and a few small shops. The property is very pretty with a lovely garden to sit in.
