Highly recommended! This is a truly beautiful place with warm and attentive hosts. We booked two rooms for our family — each one was unique, and staying there felt like living in a museum. The view from the balcony and several terraces was breathtaking at any time of the day. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was abundant and diverse — eggs, vegetables, cheese, pancakes, cake, fruits, and three different drinks. But the absolute highlight was the pool — stunning to look at and incredibly refreshing on hot summer days. We ended up swimming at least three times a day! In summary, we loved everything. The value for money was excellent, the location was great, and the hosts were truly wonderful. A heartfelt thank you for everything!

This villa is amazing! It’s next door to a few historic houses that have turned into musea. Actually this villa used to be a museum too but the owners decided to turn it into a place where you don’t only visit a historic house but you also get a chance to truly experience it! The rooms are big, bright and clean. Some of the furniture are from the 1800’s , it was very special to see it. There are old family photos on the wall too so the whole building has a rich history! It is also said that the prince of the Albanian kingdom in the 1800’s used to stay here. The location is perfect, it’s a 3 minute walk to the bazar in the old center and the villa is located on the middle of the hill. So not uphill or downhill but right in the middle! There is a garden full of turtles next door and the owner made amazing breakfast for us with products from her own organic garden. It was a truly special experience.

My request was perfectly accepted not only baggage leaving but also early check-in. Host (may be supermarket- downstairs owner?) came out from the supermarket before arriving the spot, this is the best welcome for guests. So nice interior, especially first-class hotel like bed making, comfortable LDK, full equipped kitchen. Sweets and juice were stocked for us. Great view from wide balcony. Very close to long distance bus station

Extremely hospitable and helpful, all my requests were handled with care. Petro is really a person who loves his job and I would like to thank him for his gesture about the room facilities. The location is already great, in the middle of all the places to visit. The room was also very clean, and I can say that it was warmer in this season (end of March) than other places I have stayed in Albania. When I come to Gjirokaster again, I will look for a place here without hesitation.

Clockwise is just the BEST location to explore Gjirokaster!! The walk to the town is only about 8minutes, through a tunnel under the castle....so cool!! The accomodation was so comfortable, perfect size and the host was SO kind and helpful. Parking wasn't an issue, we parked right outside. Breakfast was beautiful and the view from the terrace was absolutely STUNNING during the day and at night 🥰 Would highly recommend this property for a stay in Gjirokaster!!

Villa 70 is wonderfully located - it's in the heart of Gjirokastra! The house is beautiful itself, being a part of the old town. It has a wonderful terrace. In the morning the hosts treat you with a delicious breakfast. I'd love to stay there again if I ever make my way back to Gjirokastra.
