The boat is in a lovely, quiet location. But not far from the centre. The host Ruud is a wonderful, helpful and kind person. Inside the boat was excellent, everything was modern. looked new. Everything was clean. I loved this place and when I visit Amsterdam again I will definitely be staying here.

We absolutely LOVED staying on the boat. Such a lovely, quiet area, and the hosts were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. There is a great supermarket and tram links into central very nearby. The boat was so comfortable and well-equipped with everything we might need. I was particularly impressed with the shower facilities, having not expected much from a small boat. We are sad to leave and would visit again in a heartbeat.

Both hosts were excellent and the little touches added such as wine,beer, juice,fresh flowers, coffee pods and milk were a welcome to remember. We also loved the views from the boat it was exceptional and even got used to waking up to the sound of ducks. Lone helped us plan the best routes to get to the different sites we wanted to see.There are also two bikes to use but we were too long in the tooth to use safely but a definite bonus if going shopping or riding to the nearest station where you park your bike and go. However we found we could walk to shops,tram stations and restaurants easily and it took about 20 to 30 minutes. We would love to return to this houseboat and would happily recommend it.
