For the early morning tour of the Edfu Temple, we were loaded on horse and buggies, which was a fun way to navigate the morning scene. We liked that Omar and Enjy were easy to reach on WhatsApp and responsive to our questions. Slowly gliding down the scenic Nile was just lovely. As far as the tours go, they varied. The best one was with Nervien, the only woman we had guiding us. She had clear English and did not rush through the information as some of the others did. She checked the comprehension by saying, OK? With a short pause, which is important for a guide in order to provide space for clarifying questions. Nervien also provided some photos to preview what we would see in the tombs and then let us go inside on our own.
