Well the boat itself is very nice, cute and a lot of fun. We are not people with any real experience of boating, and so we enjoyed the novelty of sitting on deck in the safety of the Doca de Belem with a glass of wine. We were attending a music event at the CCB gallery and so the location was perfect being just between the Lisbon bridge and CCB, so just a small walk away. Edson our host was super helpful and amenable and gave us lots of useful information.

The location is fantastic, there's plenty to see in Belem. The city centre is within easy reach with great public transport links. If you're the type of person who hates camping don't book this you'll just be upsetting yourself and the owner leaving a negative review of the type of place you shouldn't have booked in the first place. If you do have that sense of adventure however this is a great little place to stay and see Lisbon. The toilet block isn't as far as I expected having read reviews before booking I thought it'd be miles away but it's next to the marina gate nearest the boat. There's no running water in the boat which makes sense when you stop and think about it, if the owner left water in the tank it'd get old if there's no bookings for a week so if you intend to use the kettle like I did just buy water from the shops nearby.

Our host Louis was great and helped us out when we arrived quite late due to passport control at delays at the airport. The boat was fantastic for me and my friend who were visiting for a wedding. It was a great place to relax during the day with a book. It was right next an amazing monument to Henry the Navigator, the St Jeronimo Cathedral, the maritime museum, a lovely ice cream place and not far from some lovely restaurants and breakfast spots. Taxi's into town are not pricey either. I would love to stay in a boat again in the future. Would recommend doing a boat tour to see the dolphins! Thanks again :)
