We spend two nights at The Wanderer Guesthouse and our experience was great. The communication with the host was perfect even before our arrival we were given all the info we needed. On arrival the check-in is very straightforward just by following the provided instructions. Our room was relatively small but very nicely furnished and sparkling clean. The en suite toilet was definitely a great add-on ! The shared spaces were also very well kept with a fully equipped kitchen. The area around the house is very quiet which makes it for a wonderful night sleep. This is definitely a place I would recommend if you are travelling in the area.

Beds were very comfortable & A/C system is quiet enough so it won't keep you up all night. Breakfast was great. We didn't have a chance to have dinner, but if breakfast is any indication, I'm sure the food would be great too. Banana Dog Cafe (a food truck run by the owners daughter on premises) makes the BEST coffee. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. A short (4 mile or so) drive into town for more shops & restaurants.

Linda, the owner, was the perfect hostess and her lovely inn is centrally located in the beautiful little town of New Bern.
