We had a fabulous stay with Tammy at the Yellow Rose of Talbot and I still haven't stopped talking about it! Tammy is the perfect host from the minute you arrive. Her breakfasts are really something else. Everything is absolutely delicious and we were spoilt for choice. The maple walnut french toast was truly one of the nicest breakfast items I've ever had. The room and location were also perfect.

The location was perfect and easy to get around from. We received fresh breakfast each morning that was delicious. The hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond. The villa was beautiful, clean and well equipped. My daughter and I were very comfortable and I will certainly book again.

Other places might be rated as high on cleanliness, but are older and have a feeling of staying in someone's well-kept house. This is distinctly different - it's more like staying in a spotless, recently renovated hotel suite with a kitchen. The Metro is a short walk and a wide variety of restaurants nearby. I will stay here again.

There are a lot of small thoughtful things included starting from coffee cups, mini fridge, small toiletries. During my stay the host made sure to change the sheets and towels and was very welcoming and helpful overall. 100 % would recommend. It’s a great location and community is fantastic too. You can reach various bus stops pretty easily and Takoma metro station is within walking distance.
