I was overwhelmed by my whole e at Afro Smile Guest house. Everything was excellent. I am Vegan and had wonderful food, my non-Vegan friend also had fabulous food. The room and grounds were lovely. This is a beautiful place right next to the Nile! We loved the view of the river while we ate breakfast. The room was super comfy and the shower had great water pressure! Really friendly hosts and yummy food! We'll definitely be back

One of my highlights of my 10 days of travel in Uganda was staying in Jinja at Home on the Nile. The location is incredible looking out over the water. It was very peaceful, and I loved relaxing and reading on the balcony. It's also close to the town centre and lovely cafes (for instance only a 20-minute walk or a very quick boda boda to The Deli). The staff were incredible -- extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful. They made my stay memorable and helped to organize a white-water rafting trip for me. If I'm back in Jinja, I will always try to stay here!
