They’re designed like private cabins, offering plenty of space and privacy. The bed was super comfortable and for the first time since starting my trip, I was able to get a really good sleep. The room also smelled fresh and clean. The dorms, bungalows, and bathrooms are built separately, making it very quiet - you don’t constantly hear doors opening and closing. Before check-in, I received detailed information via WhatsApp about how everything works and where to find things. All in all, there is no way you wouldn’t like it - highly recommended! :-)

It has a great matras and the location is nice. Lots of birds , gecko's and you can even see monkey's. The host and his dogs are awesome and I will definitely return

Large, clean, and good value bungalows in a quiet setting, very close to Bailan beach and the local shops and restaurants. Very friendly staff, tasty fresh breakfasts with great cappuccino.

Extras include a desk, an outdoor seating area and bed linen. Best beach on the island in my opinion. If you want a peaceful and serene experience this is the place, everything shuts very early on this part of the island but it’s worth the beauty of the area. The bungalows are an absolute dream, comfiest beds I’ve slept in, the beach is your garden and you can sit on the porch watching the waves at your doorstep. You also get private sun loungers you can sit on and because there are so many trees you can chose between shade and sun. There’s lots of cute hermit crabs in the sand as well. The staff are very attentive and lovely! I was gutted that I’d booked to stay on lonely beach for the second half of our stay because none where as beautiful as this.

A nice little beach with restaurants and pools on walking distance. The hosts are such lovely people who gave me good advice about nice places to visit. The location a little drive to the rural part, but not to far away to search for something else!

This is the second time I stay at Maddekehaoo. Roberto is a wonderful host and his place is out of an interior design magazine. The breakfast is wonderful as well.

Gae and Dino are the best hosts and the food is so good! The bed was comfortable and the surroundings are really beautiful with a lot of nice nature. It’s quiet and serine. They have so many beautiful plants at their property as well. It is just a short walk to the beach and if you feel for it you can borrow their kayak to paddle the river or go to the beautiful Sol beach. I can really recommend to stay at “pineapple” bar&bungalow. I feel so blessed to have had this opportunity.
