Only two regrets : I should have booked more than 1 night, and should have tried Bruno s cuisine as he sounds like a passionate chef! If we ever come back, we will definitely stay at his again! Our best stay so far after 2 weeks in of travel. Definitely recommend with no hesitation! I would give 12/10 if I could

The dinner at a (somewhat high) price of 30 Euro per person was good. Good service overall. The owner, Mr. Desprairies, is very professional.

La Rose du Sud is located 5 km from the centre of Saint-Joseph and a 15-minute drive from both Cap Mechant and the Grand Galet Waterfalls. Beautiful property with pool & spa for relaxation. Great to have choice for dinner right on site. Even got to see a giant turtle in the morning!

Where do I even begin, this place is so good in so many ways! The hosts, Francia and Denis, converted three rooms in their big house into guest rooms and created a pretty wonderful place. The room was very clean and decorated nicely. A bit small, but big enough. Toilet and a very spacious bathroom was across the hall, but they were reserved for my private use. The outside area consists of the pool, a well equipped kitchen and a large and cosy seating area. Considering that there are only up to 4 other guests in the house, you can consider these facilities to be almost private. Most importantly the hosts - they are very warm, speak good English and they kept doing big and small gestures - came and offered a glass of juice, some fruits, invited me and other guests for a cup of tea, cake etc. Denis even drove me around the town in his car and showed me the most important sights.
