We had the Inn to ourselves with them (do not miss the chance to have a beer in the smallest bar in NZ!) and enjoyed a great dinner cooked by their chef Sebastian. They have done a great job restoring and maintaining this gem in a beautiful location. We would definitely recommend staying here for any travellers passing by the Nelson lakes. Bathrooms and bedrooms were exceptionally clean. They had the fires on to keep the place warm.

The boat shed cabin was cosy. We all loved the gardens and the outdoor kitchen and dining area. The boys loved the stream and watching the eels. 2 days and we didn't want to leave.

The room was very spacious and extremely clean. In fact, it was cleaner than any other hotel I’ve stayed at in New Zealand on my three week trip. Sometimes staying in someone’s home can feel uncomfortable, but this was not the case at all. Julie was so welcoming, and the guest rooms are on the top floor and each have their own private amenities. Julie was incredibly kind, offering helpful information about the area, and she went above and beyond by doing our dishes, refreshing the breakfast food in the fridge, and tidying up every day. The neighborhood is super cute and peaceful too, and our room had a lovely view of the mountains. This was definitely a better deal than any other hotel in the area. I would absolutely stay here again.

There were great patio spaces to spend some time in, with extensive landscaping. Maria served an exceptional breakfast and was very accommodating. Relaxed and quiet evening in a beautiful house.

This is the place that you fall in love with immediately, the facilities were terrific the owners , serge and Maria they make you feel like home , breakfast is perfect and the spa is just the cherry on top of this perfection , we enjoyed our night and highly recommend it

Communication was prompt and professional and arrived to an upgraded room with a log fire which was started prior to arrival. Everything was really nice, so was breakfast. What wonderful staff, very friendly and accommodating. Very happy.
