Super cosy room and a separate guest area with picture window. You could just sit there for hours watching the kittiwakes. Staff were totally wonderful. Food exceptional. Wish we could stay longer

The dinner was the best we have had in Norway and it was wonderful to be one tiny part of preserving the history of such a beautiful place. We walked to the sculpture garden at our hosts recommendation and we were cozy inside while the wind blew and the sea crashed under the docking in the night.

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the guest house's outdoor fireplace. This place exceeded all my expectations. It was by far our favourite stay in Norway in a 2-week trip (and I almost didn't book it because we were going to Lofoten islands and Sortland was not really on our radar). + Let me start by saying that the owner was really friendly and kind. + The place is some kilometers away from Sortland, in a small village and a bit away from other houses. Behind it there is a ski run that follows a little stream where you can take a walk in the middle of nature, with mountains, close to the sea and surrounded by snow. + The studio is a very special place, more so for me because I studied Art History. Seeing all the lovely paintings and vintage pieces, sculptures, books, rugs, furniture... it is my dream home! I hope one day I can have such an amazing collection myself. + The lightning is also cozy and well thought. + We were lucky enough to arrive when there was a lot of snow, so the place was even more magical. I couldn't get tired of watching through the large windows to the garden covered in snow and the glasshouse. + The beds were very comfy and spacious. + Loved the floor heating on the bathroom :)

Midnattsol rom og hytter is a recently renovated guest house in Bleik, where guests can make the most of its bar and barbecue facilities. This beachfront property offers access to a patio. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Such an amazing place! So close to whale watching and hiking!

Arctic Ocean Lodge is set in Skjolde and offers a bar, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. Located on the beachfront, this property features a private beach area, ski-to-door access, a garden and free WiFi. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Stunning quiet location that is far from most of the main tourist areas of Lofoten but dont let that discourage you from visiting, this is a completely authentic and family run lodging experience. We really valued our time here in the cozy rorbua. It is a perfect location for doing a loop of Andoya Island for a day as well. 100% recommend for a relaxing weekend getaway, just be prepared to bring any food you want in, as it is 30 min to the nearest store.

Solheim Guesthouse features free WiFi . I loved everything about this place. The location was great, bed was comfy and I had the best sleep of my two weeks trip to Norway in here. The host Helena was just amazing - so helpful, kind and warm. This all reminded me of the importance of human connection (instead of just checking in and out of a hotel which I did in other places). I would definitely stay here again.

The units are located in 2 house by the sea. The apartment has an open-plan room with a fireplace, dining area and large flat-screen TV with cable channels. The guest rooms feature access to shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. All have a sea view. The owner was very kind and helpful since we arrived on a Sunday evening after coming off the ferry at 8:40pm and after showing us to our room also pointed us to where to get something to eat since typically everything is closed during that time. The room itself has everything you might want, from cutlery, spices, and comfortable seating area and even board games.
