It had all the amenities and was up-to-date in every way including reliable wi-fi. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a great sleep. The breakfast was amazing with all of the wonderfully fresh, hand-prepared selections and the lovely note card to start the day positively! The outdoor lounge area had beautiful views and inviting lights as night set in. Margarete was the kindest person and full of interesting information as well as an amazing host, baker and chef. I wish I could have stayed much longer!

At the morning we had a tasty breakfast with homemade warm bread, some fruits, yogurts, cheese and sausages - there was plenty of choice. The hosts tried to be sure that we felt comfortable and welcomed in their place. I absolutely recommend this such a unique experience to everyone who visit Roros!

It was -36 Celsius and we felt warm and cozy! The staff were so nice and had our kids throwing hot water outside to freeze in the air! Make sure you eat in their restaurant as it is exceptional. It is right in the middle of town too. Would highly recommend, especially for a family of 6. We had our own little area of rooms so we didn't have to worry about being noisy!

It was great to have the opportunity of staying in an old wooden house in the city centre, as these buildings are relatively rare in Trondheim. It was warm, full of character. As a single female travelling, I was initially a bit anxious - however, the house was warm, cosy, and VERY quiet! I only bumped into people twice over the four nights I stayed there.
