Everything feels new. The owners took care of us during the whole stay and provided the best service. Dan was such an amazing host. Although our stay was very short, it became a memorable one for us. There is an Airco in the room (cold and warm), a Nespresso coffee machine (classic capsules), and a fridge. The towels and bed sheets are very clean and the room is very inviting. The Retro design of the room is very nice as well.

The property has quiet street views and is 19 km from Keukenhof and 19 km from Madurodam. Guests can access the bed and breakfast via private entrance. The location of the property was absolutely perfect, very close to town centre but very quiet and comfortable. We were on the ground floor room and it was great since one of our party has some mobility issues. I feel like I could write a full page just on the breakfast that was provided each morning. For two of the mornings, we had an early start so Fred delivered bread and meat and cheeses that we could eat before we left. On the days we were fortunate enough to have some time, there was enough food to feed a family of five. We were able to make sandwiches for lunch. We were blessed with incredible weather and we were able to experience King’s Day in the town. If we got tired, we were able to easily walk back to the room and have a rest before continuing on our day. There are any number of fantastic restaurants within a few minutes walking. Fred and Marion were very gracious hosts and helped out with any issues we had at all. I would recommend this BnB and these hosts for anytime you are fortunate after to visit this beautiful small city.

Very clean, cosy, owners very friendly, helpful, breakfast more than we could eat. We were in winter time, bit cold on arrival but owners increased it immediately and it was warm in no time. There is parking in 5 mins walking where first 24hrs are for free. Walking distance to town centre 10 mins. We will definitely use this place again

If you would like to discover the area, cycling, fishing and hiking are possible in the surroundings and B&B De Meije can arrange a bicycle rental service. Host was very welcoming, show us around a place. Nature around is amazing and you can take a e-bike, kayak or sup to explore more. Rooms were very, very clean and they are taking a lot of care about the details. Breakfast was very good and definitely trip there was worth.
