I felt extremely welcomed! It is a property recently refurbished (w/ traditional style), very well-located and with an amazing rooftop for a slow morning breakfast. The riad is absolutely lovely — perfectly painted in blue, blending beautifully with its surroundings. The moment I saw it, I thought wow, it looks exactly like the pictures! Inside, it’s spotless and tastefully designed — modern yet with an authentic Moroccan touch. The room is a little on the smaller side, but it didn’t bother me at all — it’s cozy, comfortable, and well equipped with everything I needed. The bathroom, on the other hand, is surprisingly spacious! My favourite moment each day was breakfast. Since the riad is located on a hill, you get an impeccable view overlooking the Blue City while enjoying a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast — truly unforgettable. The location is fantastic: not too central (so it’s peaceful and quiet) yet still super convenient. The street itself is charming. What really made my stay special was the host, Taufik. He’s incredibly friendly and responsive. He even welcomed me personally at the meeting point and guided me all the way to the riad — just like a good friend would. He made sure I felt comfortable and at home throughout my stay. Indeed, this riad truly felt like my home in the charming Chefchaouen.
