Gilles was a fantastic host, offering lots of information about the area and arranging taxis etc. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and helped with any problems. Karim is an awesome host. Every meal he cooks is absolutely delicious. The location is pretty secluded, away from the busy crowds (for now) and you get to experience breathtaking views any direction you walk. There are also surfboards and wetsuits for rent. Also the donkeys and dogs were a nice addition. This is definitely a place I'd recommend to anyone.

Guests at the guest house can enjoy a continental breakfast. A beautifully restored Riad, tastefully furnished which oozes history and possibly one or two ghosts! We had the place to ourselves which suited the four of us but might not suit those who are expecting to meet fellow visitors. Extremely quiet but the hussle and bustle of Taroudant life is just outside the door. Very well located for the two main souks and Place Assarag where you can sit drinking mint tea and watch the world go by. We had been warned that November could be cold in the morning and night and it certainly was. I managed to swim each day but it was cold as the sun didn’t really get to heat the pool. We ended up staying for five nights (I extended our stay no problem). There’s not a lot to “do” in Taroudant in the way of touristy things but for me, just wandering the labyrinth of streets and looking at all the different corners of the city was fascinating and enough. We did one day trip to Tioute which was a highlight if you’re into agricultural systems and production…fascinating. Fully functioning kitchen was good to have.
