I loved a lot that the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and at any time accessible, the rooms were tidy, clean, and very spacious. Large balcony, private and quiet. The location was great too. I spent there 2 nights and it was very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious too. Definitely recommend this place. Great value for the money!

The guesthouse is close by the lake and by foot 10 min to the main road to have some food. The safari as really nice as well, but there is no extra guide if you prefer so. The driver was the guide. We booked the tour through the guesthouse. The room was perfect for a quick stay and the family was really nice and helped with everything. We also just got a juice after our safari from the host.

We loved staying with the local family and visiting the cinnamon production facility. We were two families with children and the location was perfect for the visit to the national park Yala. The food was the best we had in Sri Lanka and the staff were very kind.

By far the best homestay we have stayed in for the past 2 weeks traveling in Sri Lanka. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, AC rooms and the hospitality of Priya makes it the best! He helped us arrange the safari in Yala, took us bird and crocodile watching in the evening 😊 and picked us up and dropped us at the bus station. Can’t wait to be back, thanks Priya!

Such a sweet family! The cabanas are very adventurous, offering a fantastic view of the lake: if you're lucky you can spot a few crocodiles swimming around! There's no danger and it's very peaceful.☺️ The rooms are simple and tasteful. The hammock is bliss! There isn't any hot water but that's not a problem at all. We only had lunch and the kottu was very, very tasty. They can recommend a safari tour-Janaka- and it was professional and fun.
