In the mornings you wake up surrounded by nature, with the songs of birds all around. The family is a lovely couple with two adorable little daughters who brought us fresh flowers from the garden every day. The husband and wife are warm, simple, and genuine – something rare to find nowadays. Staying with them reminded us how happiness really comes from enjoying the little things. Everything was amazing. A very hospitable and warm family. The head of the family is a very polite and interesting person with whom you can talk about anything. He has so many fascinating stories to share and great advice to offer. The breakfast was superb, and it was so nice to feel well taken care of. Harsha showed us the local native plants in the garden that they use for cooking. The location is close to Sigiriya Rock and even has a view of the rock from the dining area.

The hotel is located in a walk distance from the main road between the rice fields. You will have peace and nature around you. The rooms are great and clean with all necessarcy equipment (hair dryer, hot water, towels etc.). The staff is excelent and really helpful - they will organize everything you need. It’s worth to mention about their restaurant- big portions, delicious food and great prices. If you planning to visit Sigirya/Polonnaruwa - again ask the host. They know the really nice guy with tuk tuk who transport you, show you hidden spots and tell a lot about the neighborhod. As always in a really good price.
