The surroundings are stunning, and the breakfast area is lovely. We recommend trying their traditional sweet Sri Lankan breakfast. It is definitely ideal for a family with children. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the city. The owner is great and helpful; he offered tuk-tuk rides to and from the city and also assisted with getting on the bus to Kandy.
