In the mornings you wake up surrounded by nature, with the songs of birds all around. The family is a lovely couple with two adorable little daughters who brought us fresh flowers from the garden every day. The husband and wife are warm, simple, and genuine – something rare to find nowadays. Staying with them reminded us how happiness really comes from enjoying the little things. At the guest house, units are fitted with a private bathroom. We stayed 2 nights on this beautiful location with beautiful people. The very nice room was situated in a little house with a nice terrace outside. So clean and looked as a totally new place. The service was brilliant. We got all the help we needed. For example for getting a transfer to the pidurangala ( at 5 0’clock in the morning) and a very good taxi driver who took us to our next location (very long drive/ the taxi driver gave us a roadtrip with visits to special places). Tree trails thank you so much for taking care of us! We loved our stay with you.

The BEST stay in Sri Lanka! The family are so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was out of this world. So special to try so many different Sri Lankan food options, we were truly spoilt! The room was great, spacious and so clean. The bathroom was massive and had a good shower. The bed was comfortable and the aircon was fantastic too. We really appreciated the decorations for our honeymoon stay. What sets this stay apart from others is how welcomed we felt. Chaminda was always around to answer questions, organised a safari for us and even took us to a local shop in his tuktuk. It’s the perfect location, lots of restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. Super close to Lion’s Rock too. We would really recommend the Safari jeep tour with Tharanga (Kindly organised by Chaminda) we had a private tour of Eco park and saw so many elephants it was incredible! For a really great price too. Tharanga was lovely and knew exactly where to go to see the elephants, he also kept his distance which we appreciated. All in all, this was our favourite stay in this amazing country and we can’t recommend it enough!
