Pros: The hostel is located in the city center, with easy access to 2 supermarkets, and multiple cafes. Yama, the hostel owner, is really helpful and sweet. I booked a room with a mountain view, and it was perfect. With huge windows, it had such an amazing view of the mountains! The bed was very comfortable. The room and the washroom were very clean, not even a spec of dust. The washroom also had shower gel and shampoo - so that's a great plus! There is hot water in the washroom with a shower head where you can adjust water pressure. Having been around the entire country, it is a big deal! Best part of this place - free laundry!

The first night we decided to stay in for diner, and it was so good that the next two night, we ate there as well. Akka is a very good cook, Raj a very polite and helpful host. We had all we wanted and enjoyed it a lot. We had our driver take us to Kandy, because truth to be set, it is a bit away from the city. But because we wanted a bit of rest after the hushhush and rush in the traffic of Kandy, we were really glad to have our own villa, our privacy, and a warm welcome. We could do our laundry and had enough room to dry everything. Our best stay in Sri Lanka!
