This was very useful. We visited KKS beach north of Jaffna one day by bus to use the pool at the army resort. This we would not have found out on our own. The pool table on the porch was good fun in the evenings. We highly recommend this resort.

The AC nice and cold plus the ceiling fan aids further in cooling the space down after a long day out in the Sri Lankan heat. the showers are quite exceptional by Sri Lankan standards (good pressure, hot water, and somewhat separated/divided from the rest of the bathroom). Bed was comfy and the room even had a desk and a place to hang clothes which were nice bonuses.
