I loved a lot that the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and at any time accessible, the rooms were tidy, clean, and very spacious. Large balcony, private and quiet. The location was great too. I spent there 2 nights and it was very relaxing. The breakfast was delicious too. Definitely recommend this place. Great value for the money!

The host is very generous and helpful, probably the best host I’ve ever met. He basically helped us with everything, the booking of kayaking in the lake, the turtle watching, he took us to the beach and shared lots of useful information. He even waited at the beach to ride my kids back by his motorcycle when it was almost 10 pm. As we were swimming, he arranged our dinner by the pool. The breakfast was also hearty and delicious. As for the villa, it is clean, spacious, nicely decorated. Every room has a clothes drying rack, which is very thoughtful. My favorite is the swimming pool, very clean and modern, there is also a kids pool too!

It is in a very quiet area, 10 minutes walk to the beach. The rooms are spacious, very clean, very well ventilated (the air is very clean, not like other accommodations in Sri Lanka). The garden is very beautiful and well maintained. The pool is chic and very clean, the water has a perfect temperature. The owners are very friendly and always willing to help you. They can cook you a delicious, fresh dinner, cooked on the spot, or they can organize various excursions in the area (safari, temple visit, kayaking on the lagoon, etc.). The breakfast is rich and very tasty, with fruit from the owners' garden. The atmosphere in the area is very quiet, there are not many tourists, you can meet locals which gives the place a truly authentic atmosphere.

It was actually a nicer and more comfortable place to stay than we expected. Also, a very comfortable bedroom, a very clean bathroom (with hot water), a charming balcony, we were surrounded by green surroundings with birds chirping. We were able to see various animals. We had lunch and dinner. Our dinner was full of sea food. It was very tasty. The staff was very friendly and the host was a very kind person. I think you will also be able to have a nice vacation at this place.🩷

It is not possible to describe how special this place is and we highly recommend everyone to come here and experience it yourself. Heaven in Satinwoods is our favorite place in Sri Lanka and also the food here is just the best that you can get. So if you come to this place, you should definitely try the rice and curry. From the first second we arrived at this place, we felt like staying in paradise. We were welcomed with a fresh juice, some wet towels to refresh our faces and a flower necklace. The rooms are very spacious, there is an A/C in every apartment and it is very clean. Also you have drinking water in the room, so you don’t need to buy water. You can just bring empty water bottles and reuse them, which is really great. Also this place has a wonderful garden with many beautiful trees, plants and flowers and you can watch many different animals like giant squirrels and really beautiful birds! Spacious clean rooms with wonderful Sri Lankan breakfast every morning. The best part is the host, Don, who will help you with all logistics and help make your stay great. I just text Don, when I needed something or had questions. Don drove me and another guest to beautiful diyaluma waterfalls, arranged a canoe for birdwatching on kalametiya bird sanctuary, took care of all transports in town/to Yala using pickme rates, took care of our laundry, even called me when there r nesting turtles on the beach. I saw nesting and baby turtles. His guesthouse is close to restaurants, turtle beach and the lagoon. When my husband needed to see a doctor, he arranged a tuk tuk to take us in town and wait for us. It was perfect for us and we highly recommend Amours.
