A small escape where you could admire the city lights over the lake while nestled behind a jungle shield. However central enough for you get out there if you want to. The owner of the property was our highlight. A fabulous well traveled woman with a warm welcoming energy. Her mission to make us feel at home. The interior was a feast for the eyes. Authentic and eccentric. The property was originally built as her home and it still feels that way, lived in and full of soul. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. We stayed for one night and would recommend a minimum of two nights.

Beautiful breakfast which was different every morning. Staff were wonderful and really took care of me. Away from the noise but close enough to get to everything via Tuk Tuk which can be booked by Uber app to save the haggling over price. Owner even organized for me to go to sports club to use the pool.

Beautifully decorated room with a lot of taste and attention to detail. The host was so welcoming and such an interesting lady who happened to be an architect and who designed the place herself. The breakfast was great and served in a such a serene courtyard. The family has a little cute dog and that made us miss our own doggy. All in all, the perfect place to escape the noise of the city and enjoy some relaxing moments in an incredibly affordable luxury.
