The owner's personal touch added an extra layer of charm to our stay, and we appreciated the attention to detail and commitment to ensuring that every guest had a memorable experience. Kirsh Hotel is conveniently located close, 150m; to a stunning 20 km stretch of Kalkudha beach, allowing guests to easily soak up the sun, swim in the crystal-clear waters, or simply stroll along the sandy shores and take in the breathtaking views. Overall, our stay at Kirsh Hotel was nothing short of fantastic. From the tasty food to the warm hospitality and stunning location, it exceeded all of our expectations. The owner and the workers are really nice and helpful and the hotel is located few minutes walking from Kalkudah beach. You can also easily reach Passikudah beach by foot. Very nice homestay place, there are several rooms, shared living room, shared open air dinner place and big secured parking. Owners family is very nice and friendly it was very nice to speak with. Our room was comfortable, bed was comfortable too, bathroom was big and clean(everything was perfectly clean). Very good air condition in the room. And good sound isolation. We sleept very well here. We ordered dinner and breakfast here - all was tasty.

Holiday Beach Guesthouse is 5 minutes walking from the beach, which is great and where there are only few people. The property is tidy and the garden peaceful. Our villa was well maintained and comfortable. We hope to come back!

Instead of being in the middle of a bunch of other places, including a loud hostel next door, as Ubay was, this place is in a wide open, peaceful setting, the only close neighbor a church. Better breakfast at the same price - 1300 Free, filtered water A larger staff, very attentive, but unobtrusive, only there when you need them The two beaches nearby are quieter and less crowded Much thanks to Usha, the owner's wife, who speaks excellent English. She welcomed me graciously with fresh coconut water and gave me another one when I left.

There is a seating and a dining area in all units. All units at the guest house are fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a shower. Small, cozy homestay in a quiet area, very close to the beach. The area is fenced and there are a lot of plants in front of the house. The main street in the town is about 10 minutes walk away, from where you can easily get a bus to Batticaloa. The room and bathroom are neat. The room is quite small, but sufficient, mosquito nets over the beds. The common space is a table with chairs and a large fridge. We highly recommend this place. And the best recommendation is that we came for 2 nights and stayed 6.

This is by far the most beautiful accommodation we’ve had in Sri Lanka, and if we hadn’t already booked our stay in Arugam Bay, we definitely would have extended our time here. The garden looks like paradise — it feels as if you’re hidden away in the wild, yet you’re just a few steps from a busy beach. Our cottage was beautiful and spotless, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There was also a desk, and when we arrived, we found bottled water, tea, cutlery, and a kettle waiting for us, so we didn’t need to go shopping right away. There’s a restaurant in the garden, and right next to it a small shop where you can buy everything you need. The best thing about this place is the large open-air bathroom with a stunning view of the sky and palm trees — it feels like showering in the jungle under a waterfall. Absolutely beautiful! We spent a lot of time relaxing on the sunbed in the garden and sitting on the porch in front of our cottage. The host was very kind and clearly takes great care of everything, especially the garden. He even gave us a tuk-tuk ride to the bus station when we left, which was great. I honestly thought it wasn’t possible, but this place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. 🌅

Very clean , very good customer service and the environment. The breakfast was awesome. Six of us stayed just one day here. Every one liked this place.
