The food I had was great and the apartment looks pretty new and very clean (european standard, i’d say), tidy and smells good. The area is a bit off the beaten track, but worth a trip (tea plantations all around, lake views, nice locals) and is very easy to reach by bus from Hatton.

The room was cozy and equipped with all the amenities. The place also has a small balcony with a small table and chairs with a pleasant view. Rajith is a great guy, a talented musician, he was very accommodating and was very helpful. We had a really good breakfast, prepared by his wife I highly recommend his place.

Super friendly and helpful host who can answer any questions about hiking Sri Pada and transport logistics after. So so close to the start of the Sri Pada trail head. Delicious Sri Lankan and western breakfasts. Close to everything you need. Love the cute cat and fishes! I’m glad we stayed in Dalhousie, has a festive vibe because of the pilgrimage.
